[ Bradley Westervelt ]
Following three years of architecture studies at Lawrence University (Southfield, MI) and Harvard Graduate School of Design (Cambridge, MA), Bradley entered the workforce as a machine tool and test equipment engineer, specializing in leak testing and high tolerance non-contact measurement control systems. His interest in photography later led to nearly two decades of field engineering in optics and graphic arts for Konica-Minolta and other industrial leaders in image reproduction. Keen eye for finish details and a knack for creating solutions have been hallmarks of his career.
Since making Hawaii County his full time home in 2005 he has helped found the non-profit O Kau Kakou, authored several successful County resolutions and ordinances, served as director for the Kau Federal Credit Union, been a director with the Kau Chamber of Commerce and is currently serving as president of the Kau Hospital Charitable Foundation.
