Pierre DeGroat

A native of Salem, Oregon who began his career in construction in 1994, Pierre has come a long way to his current supervisory role with Metzler Contracting. Pierre’s 20 years of experience on the US mainland helped to forged his resolve to locate to Hawaii’s big island and further his career at new single and multi-family residential developments.

In 2008 Pierre joined Metzler Contracting Co. specializing first in concrete form carpentry, and then in framing and finish carpentry. In no time at all, Pierre advanced into his current position where he enjoys the unique challenges and attention to detail inherent in each new project.
